Our Mission

The Garment Hub wants you to feel connected to the clothes you wear. We want to help you develop your own personal style so you can make your wardrobe your own. We feel that if you love the clothes you have, you won't feel the need to buy so many. There's nothing worse than rummaging through a dresser full of ill-fitting or undesirable clothing and feeling like you have nothing to wear. We will help you develop an eye for your personal style, so you will love each and every piece in your wardrobe, and will wear them over and over again.

We partner with local textile mills and independent fabric stores to provide you with fabrics that are stylish, unique, durable, and responsibly made. We also take on partnerships with nearby design schools to provide real life opportunities for fashion students, allowing them to earn credit by working with us, and creating an environment for them to showcase their skills.

Our commitment to excellent service and craftsmanship, combined with our unwavering dedication to sustainability, will not only leave you feeling better about your wardrobe choices, but will also provide you with the satisfaction of knowing that you've contributed to your community, to local artists and entrepreneurs, and to the health and well-being of our planet!

the problem

textile waste.jpg

Textiles are the second largest polluter on the planet next to oil. Each year, approximately 13 million tons of clothing is thrown away. The average garment in the American wardrobe is only worn 4-7 times before being discarded. The cost of the "disposable wardrobe" is not only draining our pockets, but is also destroying our planet. There are better ways to spend our precious money and resources, and we're here to help.

Many of us are on a tight budget, but that doesn't mean we should be forced to wear ill-fitting, outdated, and cheaply made clothes. Clothing should be an investment, not only in terms of quality and longevity, but also an investment in yourself. When you look good, you feel good. We want to help you feel good in every piece you own.

Advertisements, social media, magazines, movies and television tell us we need to constantly update our wardrobe in order to keep up with the Joneses. By the time we get around to purchasing a trendy top, it's already gone out of style and there is something else on the rack everyone is scrambling to get. Trends are an antiquated concept, and we've become a slave to them. It's time we move past the days of blindly following the herd and move on to something more personal and meaningful.

Let us help you unlock a new approach to style; one that suits you, your personality, your life, and your budget!
